Basic information a Solar EPC/Installer will need
There’s no way around the fact that sustainable development is needed in order to create a greener, healthier environment. Although solar energy has many advantages and is one of the most beneficial and effective types of renewable energy, not enough people are aware of this.
Note that sizing a solar system is much more complex than simply taking a look at your electric bills and picking one that will produce enough electricity to match your usage.
The solar company rep first needs to collect the following information:
Average annual energy usage in Units
Is your meter Single Phase/Three Phase?
Sanctioned Load (as per the latest electric bill)
The roof of your particular site (Is it Concrete/GI Sheet/Roofing Tiles etc)
What is the area available for installation? (sq.ft)
This data is necessary when it comes to first determining the ideal system size for your home, and then creating a financial forecast for your ROI based on that. We recommend steering clear of installers who claim that sizing your system is just a simple calculation.
